Tinwood Estate is a family-owned vineyard, growing high-quality grapes that produce fine English Sparkling Wine crafted using the traditional method. Located on the edge of the South Downs near Chichester in Sussex.

“Taking over the family farm in 2006 was my chance to follow my dream of making the finest sparkling wine. Converting our land from salad to wine has been a journey of discovery and joy that I look forward to sharing with you.”

Single-Estate Vineyard

At Tinwood Estate, we grow the classic Champagne grape varieties—Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier—on our flinty, chalky soils to craft our award-winning English sparkling wines. The land has been in the Tukker family since 1985, when Dutch farmer Aad Tukker bought it to grow iceberg lettuce. In 2007, his son Art had a new vision and planted the first 28 acres of vines. Since then, the vineyard has grown steadily, and today we have over 110 acres of vines thriving on the estate.

Tour - Taste - Stay

At Tinwood Estate, warm hospitality and creating memorable experiences are at the heart of everything we do. Since launching our first Vineyard Tour in 2013, we’ve welcomed guests daily to discover our family story, explore the vineyard, and enjoy guided tastings of our sparkling wines. The Vineyard Kitchen is open for tea, coffee, and lunch walk-ins. With eight luxury lodges on-site, guests can extend their stay and fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the estate.

English Sparkling Wines

Tinwood produces four elegant sparkling wines: Blanc de Blancs, Estate Brut, Rosé, and a Limited Edition Blanc de Noir. You can enjoy a glass in our tasting room or out on the decking with views across the vineyard, or purchase bottles to take home. Our shop is open daily from 9:00–17:30 and also offers a range of gift vouchers and Tinwood products—perfect for sharing the experience with others.
