Vineyard Tours & Wine Tasting

Explore the vineyard and taste award-winning English sparkling wines made in Sussex. On the one-and-a-half-hour tour, your host will take you into the vines to discover the story of Tinwood Estate and learn the journey from grape to glass. Discover how the vines are grown on our flinty, chalky soil and how it is made in the winery. Then relax in the tasting room to enjoy the three English sparkling wines made in Sussex with a laid-back tutored wine tasting. Explore the individual flavours and tastes whilst indulging in delicious, paired food plates from our Vineyard Kitchen, available to purchase on arrival.

We offer private Vineyard Tours and Wine Tastings for groups of over 24 people, all year round. This is the perfect event for corporate and private celebrations. During these enjoyable tours, you will learn the process of grape to glass along with a guided tasting of our Sussex wines. Subject to availability.

Our Sussex Tasting Experience gives you a true vineyard experience, with an introduction to the wonderful world of English wine.

The price includes:

  • A 45-minute wine tasting experience with a dedicated Tinwood expert.
  • A talk on the history of English wine and how we make our award-winning portfolio of wines.
  • A tutored tasting of all three of Tinwood wines with the option to buy food pairings from Tinwood Kitchen

Afternoon Tea Tour

Experience one of England’s finest traditions with three glasses of fine English sparkling wine. Welcomed with tea and coffee on arrival, your host will take you into the vines to discover the story of Tinwood Estate and learn the journey from grape to glass. Then relax in the tasting room to enjoy three glasses of Tinwood sparkling wines with a tutored wine tasting while indulging in a carefully crafted afternoon tea.

Enjoy freshly made scones with homemade clotted cream and strawberry jam, delicately sliced sandwiches, and a variety of sweet delights made in the Vineyard Kitchen. Please inform us of any dietary requirements at least 48 hours in advance.

The tour and tastings are £21 per person and last 1.5 hours. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the event time.

You can also book a voucher for friends and family and let them choose their preferred dates.

Mocktails

ELDERFLOWER SPRITZ
Pale in colour with a sparkling appeal, the floral elderflower bouquet gives satisfaction to the nose. This mocktail, like Blanc de Blancs, is genuinely refreshing and served with mint leaves and cucumber.

APPLETINI TONIC
Poured over frozen grapes with the glass laced with honey and sugar, this Appletini has a hazy hue and fizzy tang. A citrus zest continues to a green apple and lemon burst, mimicking Brut’s taste, while the tonic balances the sweetness and acidity, reflecting the toasty notes.

RASPBERRY & HIBISCUS FIZZ
Light berry pink in colour with a subtle fizz, the perfume of hibiscus tea on the nose presents a delightful aroma. Garnished with strawberry, the raspberry coulis hints at a similar fruit-driven explosion that the Rosé delivers.

Yes we have quite a large, ungated car park for our guests and customers.

Our indoor Tasting Room can for a maximum of 48 people. Our outdoor availability is weather-dependent but has a capacity of 150 people. We ask that the minimum number of people in your part is 24 guests.
