Our Vineyard Tour and Tasting provides you a unique and memorable experience here in Sussex. Allow Tinwood to introduce you to the world of English wine.

The price includes:

  • An introduction to Tinwood Estate and how it came to be a vineyard
  • A stroll into the vines to learn the benefits of our soil and climate here in Sussex for producing grapes
  • A tutored tasting of all three of our Sussex Sparkling wines with the opportunity to purchase food from our Vineyard Kitchen carefully crafted to pair with our wine
  • Learn the journey from grape to glass as your guide informs you about the wine-making process

Afternoon Tea Tour

Experience one of England’s finest traditions with three glasses of fine English sparkling wine. Welcomed with tea and coffee on arrival, your host will take you into the vines to discover the story of Tinwood Estate and learn about Sussex Sparkling Wine. Then relax in the tasting room to enjoy three glasses of Tinwood wine with a tutored wine tasting while indulging in a carefully crafted afternoon tea.

Enjoy freshly made scones with homemade clotted cream and strawberry jam, delicately sliced sandwiches, and a variety of sweet delights made in the Vineyard Kitchen. Please inform us of any dietary requirements at least 48 hours in advance.

The tour and tastings are £21 per person and last 1.5 hours. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the event time.

Mocktails

ELDERFLOWER SPRITZ
Pale in colour with a sparkling appeal, the floral elderflower bouquet gives satisfaction to the nose. This mocktail, like Blanc de Blancs, is genuinely refreshing and served with mint leaves and cucumber.

APPLETINI TONIC
Poured over frozen grapes with the glass laced with honey and sugar, this Appletini has a hazy hue and fizzy tang. A citrus zest continues to a green apple and lemon burst, mimicking Brut’s taste, while the tonic balances the sweetness and acidity, reflecting the toasty notes.

RASPBERRY & HIBISCUS FIZZ
Light berry pink in colour with a subtle fizz, the perfume of hibiscus tea on the nose presents a delightful aroma. Garnished with strawberry, the raspberry coulis hints at a similar fruit-driven explosion that the Rosé delivers.

A Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting is £21 per person and includes 3 glasses of sparkling wine and a tour of the vines around the Estate. After the Tour, you are welcome to stay for an extra glass or a chilled bottle of wine that can be purchased from our bar.

We run a strict cancellation policy for pre-booked events. We can reschedule a reservation if made 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled event time. Any Cancellations after this will incur a 100% charge. Should you need to cancel your reservation, please kindly contact our reservations team at info@tinwoodestate.com.
